Brighton Ski Resort is one of the oldest skiing/boarding resorts in the country, creating unforgettable memories for families and friends for over 70 years. But old doesn't mean outdated; Brighton is one of the most diverse and modern areas in all of Utah! Fantastic conditions, huge powder, superb grooming, family friendly atmosphere, incredible tree skiing, chutes and cliffs for those who like white knuckle terrain, and three awesome terrain parks are all reasons to include Brighton in your vacation plans. Utah Family magazine ranks Brighton #1 for family affordability and terrain. Kids 7 and under ski and ride free. With 1,745 feet of vertical rise, a base elevation of 8,755 feet, over 500" of average snowfall, and unparalleled backcountry access, Brighton truly gets its share of "The Greatest Snow on Earth", offering a truly unique winter experience.

Brighton is "The place where Utah learns to ski and snowboard." Passionate about sharing the sport they love, their instructors are skilled at creating a positive learning environment for you and your family. Brighton offers daily and multi-week lessons for children 3 and up and adults of all ages and abilities.

With a wide range of terrain, Brighton is a winter haven of fun. Skiers and boarders virtually have unlimited access to some of the best backcountry in Utah. Lifts, via an open boundary policy, provide this unique opportunity to alpine enthusiasts throughout two mountains. Affordable lodging is available at the Brighton Lodge, and ski and snowboard rentals are located conveniently at the Brighton Center. A reasonably priced cafeteria style dining is available at The Alpine Rose. Molly Green's, a private club for members, offers delicious table service lunches, dinners, and lively après activity.

The Brighton night ticket is considered by many to be one of the best values in skiing or snowboarding. Brighton continues to offer the most night terrain in the Wasatch. From 4-9 pm every Monday through Saturday, visitors can enjoy skiing or snowboarding on 20 lighted runs-over 200 acres-served by 3 lifts, including the high-speed Crest and the Majestic quads. Night tickets are offered in mid-December and continuing until early April. Additional night access options are the Twilight lift pass, valid from 12:30-9 pm, or the Brighton Superday ticket good from 9 am-9 pm.

Brighton is located at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon, only 35 minutes southeast of downtown Salt Lake City (35 miles from Salt Lake International Airport.)
