Cross-Country Skiing
Cross-country skiing on groomed trails is a favorite Utah winter sport. During the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics, the world witnessed Utah’s dedication to cross-country skiing with the staging of spectacular Nordic events.
Midway, Utah makes the perfect base for cross-country skiers. Located 50 miles from Salt Lake City and 10 miles from the ski town, Park City, Midway provides easy access to National Forest trails and is within a 30-minute drive of the following cross-country skiing centers: Soldier Hollow, Homestead Resort, Wasatch State Park, White Pine Center, Sundance Resort, and Beaver Creek Trail.
